Zahra Fuladvand — a performance maker and researcher exploring audience engagement in unconventional spaces and the ritual dimensions of community-based performance.
Zahra Fuladvand is an Iranian performance maker, scenographer, and researcher based in Budapest. Her practice explores participation, ritual, displacement, collective memory, and the relationship between intimate experience and public space. Drawing on Persian performance traditions, site-responsive practice, and community-based methodologies, she creates performances in theatres, galleries, urban environments, and unconventional spaces. She holds a Doctor of Liberal Arts in Performing Arts from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts.
